One of the main goals of the „Lay judges“ Foundation is to build a bridge between citizens and the judicial system. A Public Council has been established for this purpose.
- Galinka Chavdarova served as Chair of the Public Council from its establishment in January 2024 until September of the same year. In this capacity, she attended the European day of lay judges in Germany in May.
- Ivanka Georgieva Stoycheva has been the Chair of the Public Council since October 2024. In this capacity, she attended the conference of Italian lay judges in Brescia in October 2024, and will also attend the European day of lay judges in May 2025.
